Tourist visa (L), issued to individuals traveling to China for tourism and visiting friends.

Basic Documents

Your valid U.S Passport

  1. With at least 2 blank visa pages
  2. With at least 6 month’s validity for single entry visa
  3. With at least 12 month’s validity for 10 years visa

Residence Verification Documents

  1. A copy of your state-issued driver’s license
  2. or state-issued resident ID (photocopy)
  3. or a recent utility bill/bank statement (copy)

Visa photo

  1. China Online Visa Application requires a visa photo to be uploaded.
  2. Please refer to our Chinese Visa Photo Guide for requirements.
  3. Photograph should be recent within 6 months.
  1. Select North America, locate the United States; based on the Consular Jurisdiction Map to choose Washington D.C, or New York.  
  2. Don’t forget to save your application ID.
  3. Complete the form as thoroughly as possible! Our team at Oasis will review and guide you through any necessary adjustments.
  4. Do not submit until Oasis has completed the review and given you instructions.

Conditional Documents

Please note that we may ask for the following additional documents that are not listed on the embassy website, but will be needed to better support your visa application.  Should any documents be unavailable, it may not hinder the processing of your application. Our visa specialists are committed to assisting you in preparing and submitting your application correctly.

  • U.S Naturalization Certificate 
  • Green Card for applications of non-U.S. citizens.
  • Employer’s letter of verification
  • Passports of any previous or other nationalities
  • Previous Chinese Visa/ Chinese residence permit records

If any documents are missing, this may not halt the processing of your application, but it will influence the outcome. Our visa specialists are dedicated to helping you prepare and submit your application accurately.

Service & Fees

Our standard processing fee for Tourist Visa applications is usually $200 per person. For U.S. citizens, the Chinese Embassy Visa Application Fee is $140. We also charge $20 for FedEx 2nd-day shipping, which includes tracking, Direct Signature confirmation upon delivery, and insurance up to $500 per package. For families applying together, we offer a discount of $20 for each additional application in the same order.

For expedited processing, we aim to complete your application as quickly as possible. The expedited service fee is $400, plus an Embassy Fee of $165 for U.S. citizens, and priority overnight FedEx shipping costs $51.35.

Please note that the service fee may vary from case to case, depending on each applicant’s unique situation and the time and effort required to complete the application’s processing. Therefore, our office cannot provide a final quote until our visa specialist have reviewed your case.

Passport turn-around Time

 

After receiving and submitting your application to the Chinese Embassy, the standard processing time is 4-5 business days. Keep in mind that additional time is needed for reviewing, preparing, and shipping your application before it is submitted. We recommend starting the application process 3-4 weeks ahead of your intended travel dates.

For expedited processing, our aim is to obtain your visa as quickly as possible, generally within 3-5 business days, not including shipping time.
