At Oasis China Visa Services, we’re thrilled to assist you in obtaining your visa for China. Our goal is to make your application process as smooth and convenient as possible. Below, you’ll find key steps and tips to guide you through each stage of your visa application.
1. Verify Your Passport Eligibility
Before you begin your application, please make sure:

- Your passport has at least 6 months of validity remaining from the application date.

- You have at least two blank visa pages in your passport.

- If your passport doesn’t meet these criteria, renew it before starting your visa application.
2. Prepare Your Visa Photo
If you’re having trouble with the photo required for the Online Visa Application, don’t worry! Simply take a selfie and upload it on our website. Our team will edit the photo and email it back to you, perfectly formatted for the application. We also have a Visa Photo Tutorial on YouTube to help you get it right.
3. Fill Out the Online Visa Application (COVA)
Once your passport meets the requirements and you have a valid photo, you’re ready to begin your COVA (China Online Visa Application) form. Please use our COVA form tips to fill it out thoroughly and accurately.
4. Send Your Documents for Quick Review
Once you have completed your COVA application and gathered the required documents, simply fill out the following form so we can check and get back to you with further instructions
5. Register Your Order & Make Payment
Next, our visa specialist has reviewed your materials, and send you an estimated processing timeline along with payment instructions. As part of our commitment to supporting the Duke community, we offer special discounts for Duke students, families, and faculty.

Please note: Embassy fees and return shipping costs are calculated separately based on each applicant’s specific situation and needs.

6. Mail Your Documents to Oasis
Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, an Oasis visa specialist will finalize your application form and send you a detailed shipping checklist along with step-by-step mailing instructions.
