There are five Chinese consular visa offices in the United States, each responsible for specific state jurisdictions. To determine which visa office will process your application, the Consulate requires proof of residency, such as a state-issued ID, a utility bill, or a bank statement.
For minor applicants, a birth certificate and a copy of a parent’s state-issued ID are also required.
