Your Chinese Visa Application: Process & Timelines

To ensure a seamless experience, we have outlined the standard procedures and estimated timelines for our full-service application support. After our team performs an initial review of your documents, we will confirm your eligibility and provide instructions to complete your registration.

Getting Started

  2. Registration & Payment: Your order officially enters our processing queue once payment is completed.

  3. Specialist Assignment: A dedicated visa specialist will be assigned to your case within 1–2 business days of payment.

The Two-Stage Processing Timeline

Estimated processing times vary by Consulate jurisdiction and are subject to change based on the current workload and seasonal volume at the Embassy Visa Offices.

  • Washington D.C. Jurisdiction: Approximately 3 weeks.

  • L.A., S.F., NYC, & Chicago Jurisdictions: Approximately 4 weeks.

    • Note: These locations require additional handling and transit time to complete the filing process.

  • Peak Seasons: Processing times for the Embassy Pre-approval stage may increase during high-volume periods.

  • Embassy Discretion: Certain cases may require additional review or internal processing. The Embassy does not provide a pre-set decision date for these instances.

  • Stay Informed: You will receive automated email updates once we receive your physical application package and again when your passport has been shipped back to you. Our team will also contact you directly if any part of your application requires immediate attention.
